Call me crazy, but I buy a lot of stuff in Frisco, McKinney, Allen and Plano off of Craigslist. That is a nice boat you have also! He still doesn't have a title, been waiting 3 years.......... I thought you would be passed out by now.

Best deal I ever got was on Craiglist in Miami. Guy announces he is having a yard sale in a few days and lists a Perception, Illusion kayak for sale, for $200. I went in rainstorm the day before sale and gladly paid his asking price. After washing all the dirt and leaves off it, looked brand new. Felt bad about getting it so cheap and bought his paddle separately out of guilt. Guy had to get flares and other fishing stuff out of it so I don't believe it was hot.

I am just glad some of you are afraid of a good deal. Many of you must think all Craigslist sellers live in the ghetto, smoke crack and shot their neighbors. Do you wear aluminum foil hats and listen to Rush on a regular basis? No need to answer that.....

Haha I'm with you McKinneyMike. Craigslist is the only way I can afford most stuff, and make a little money on stuff I don't need anymore. I'm in college and I had to work all summer to afford my old boat. I bought it on craigslist after months of looking for something I could afford that ran, along with many other things I've picked up or sold. Never have I had even a small thought that I was buying something stolen. Mostly just good people trying to make a little money. I wouldn't be fishing and certainly wouldn't be on this forum if it wasn't for craigslist, because the guy that told me about this forum was selling me some fishing gear for my boat!
