My front live well has power. I can hear it humming but no water is coming in. I checked the outside intake at the back of the boat to make sure it is not clogged up and it is clear.

Impeller on the pump is probably broken or worn smooth out.

Mine does that sometimes, other times it works. After I drive the boat a short distance, it works. I have not looked into it yet. Im guessing a worn impeller.
