 Optimax squealing

I've got a 2008 200 hp optimax started making a squealing noise after a tournament this weekend. Seem to be running fine and goes into gear good. Just replaced the belt last week.makes the noise at idle but as soon as I take off it stops. No buzzer or warnings coming on. Does anyone have an idea what is wrong? Thanks

Compressor going out. Had one do the exact same thing on LBJ on a Saturday prefish with tournament on Sunday. Fished around ramp. Was told by Merc mechanic do not run it till he could check it out. In shop on a Monday. He called that evening & said it WAS compressor & would be ready Thursday. It was. It was on an 07' ProXS225.

Just a suggestion. Check your l/u lube and make sure there is no water in it. We have had a few come into the shop and had driveshaft failures due to water in the gearcase. It will make a squeal before she locks up or breaks.
