Hit home lake this morning. Ended up with only 7 keepers. A few decent sized ones. LOTS of throw backs. Still, better than being at work on a Monday. All were released as I have no more room in the freezer and the wife is getting upset.

Those are nice fish. Any day on the lake is better than being at work.

Oh there are still PLENTY of specials. But with the lake being closed most of the summer last year, I've had some really nice ones come out of there this year. Give it a couple of years though. The JPS will be back with a vengeance!

What's your home lake? We hit pool this morning and only caught three drinks. Joe Pool is my home lake. Where were you? We fished some timber across from Loyd park and then tried the bridge for a little bit. The timber is where we got our bites. I usually fish lake worth and notice the bite changed there since this last rain/front came through.

I was under the south bridge. The one by the marina is always full of people. The bite is very different from last week even. The rain I think threw them off.

Didn't meant to hijack your thread. Just backing up your statement about how it can get busy by the marina.

You didn't hijack a thing. I hate going to the bridge by the marina. The jet flea infestation is bad there.

I guess I was at the north one then, there was only one other boat over there fishing. Is the south bridge just as deep? I'm used to catching crappie in less than 15ft, not 25ft.
