I like 6 to 6 1/2 medium or medium heavy rods, Garcia 5500-C and 20 pound line.

I use 7ft medium heavy for 1oz spoons and 7ft medium for 1/2oz and 3/4oz spoons with a 13 fishing concept A and basspro Pro Qualifer with 14lb test.

All with Shimano Curado or Chronarchs spooled with 40lb Stren or Fins braid
