I thought you were down there this week. Someone on another post has asked what to throw when it's raining. I said I think an orange spinnerbait or buzzbaits. Anyhow I hope everything is going good for you.

Went to Lake Novillo this last week with a friend that has a house there. We had a great time. That lake is beautiful with all the green mountains and deep, deep water. We only averaged 20 per day after the lake has come up 30 ft. this last month. We had fish up to 6 lbs. but not enough to warrant a 2 day drive. Hope to go back again in Nov. for the top water bite.

Anyone wanting to go to Lake Novillo. I can make that happen. In the spring you can expect 100 fish days. It is the first lake on the chain, about 6 hours into Mexico. I have contacts there with houses to rent by the week. I can provide guides at $50 per day in your boat. If you would like to fly in and fish with a guide out of his boat it is $200 per day.

You are on your own on this lake. There are no outfitters to take care of your every need. That makes for a very cheap trip. Although if you go with me or follow me down to the lake; I take care of everything from your drinks to your meals. Each house has a kitchen so your meals will be prepared there and I will take care of that also.
