As I've gotten older fishing is more about a harvest other than fish..

Great camera work! Really enjoy seeing all the wildlife. Sure looks peaceful. Those first North winds are kind of exciting but also a little dreadful for me, I really hate winter.

I guess how you feel about the seasons is relative to where you come from.. Being born in Michigan and visiting the north country for the November deer season kind of gives me a different perspective on our mild Central Texas winters.. I'll take Texas with an average 300 days a year of sunny skies over the long nights and gray winter days way up north..

I do miss the change in seasons with the show of fall color in the maples, oaks, birch trees and others put on just before they fall and get covered in snow.. given the opportunity I'd go up there in the fall at the drop of a hat..

For me, if it's too cold to wear shorts it is winter. Love the pictures. You have inspired me to do a video on fall fishing at Ray Roberts. We'll see what happens.
