 Hydraulic steering or cable

My steering is getting very difficult and I'm almost certain it's an over greasing issue. Boat is a ZX 190 end I'm wondering if I should replace the cable, or upgrade to hydraulic steering. Cables are around $400, hydraulic $900... On line prices-no labor. Thanks in advance!

Hydraulic and go with the Sea Star Pro. I'll never own a boat with a 150+ HP without one again.

+1^^^^^. Ditto on never owning a 150+hp boat without hydraulic steering. Worth every dollar!!!!

Have zx 185 and changed over to hydraulic and can't believe I did'nt do it sooner. You will love it
