I was at the lake today and while fishing, my trim started moving down on it's own and kept going on and off sometimes running for minutes at a time. I was able to load the boat because it started working again. After parking the boat I realized that the motor had trimmed all the way up. I messed with the trim switch on the motor and it would go down a little but then raise back up. Any ideas what's going on with this?

Check the bow trim switch first. I fought trim issues all last year and the first of this year to the tune of $2200 before they finally figured it out... Also, unhook your battery so that it doesn't end up burning up your trim motor.

Sounds like a bad switch somewhere or bad relays

Battery is disconnected, I'll check the switches and try to locate relays, thanks!
