When the conditions arise and the rain starts to come down, what are you favorite goto lures or techniques in the rain? Does a light sprinkle or downpour change your tactics? Do you start to fish cover or go deep? I am just wondering since I have heard so many different variations of what to do in this scenario.

Buzzbait, spinnerbait, squarebill, and a spook.

If that doesn't work, I go back out deep and fish a deep diving crank or a c-rig.

Sometimes the rain turns them on, and sometimes it seems to shut them down- but the deep fish don't seem to know (or care) if it's raining.

Buzz bait, frog, spook, yellow magic, squarebill espically this time of year when things start cooling off.

Same things I throw on a cloudy day.

If the rain moves in with north wind/cold front; I'll also throw a jig or trig very close to timber in a wind protected creek.

It's better to be strapped for all scenarios. You never know.. I think it's just a coincidence that it will rain on those days and yes I happen to be going..

I get on the bank, spinnerbaits, split shot, drop shot,trig... Look for draws and drains...

buzzbait, tx rig, frog, jig. kinda go fast through those until I find one that works. Sat morning, in the rain, the buzzbait was getting hit for a little while. then switched to a tx rig in the same areas.
