I left a nice paddle lying on the ground at the upper Neches R. park in Chandler this last white bass season when fleeing a lightning storm! Need suggestions for a good budget paddle. I am a high angle paddler. thanks

You can get a Bending Branches Slice Hybrid for $159. Carbon fiber shaft and only 30 oz.

I really like my ONO but they are not cheap.
If you can afford it try to keep the weight under 30 oz. This seems to be the breaking point for a long day of paddling without pain.
If you are an experienced paddler I would not get anything under 240 CM.

I don't go too fast but I go pretty far.

Well, I went with an Aquabound Manta Ray paddle from Outback.com for $87. It has a fiberglass handle and the "click" button locking mechanism (not the Aquabound twist lock). It fits the bill for me.
