Going this weekend. Finally. Motor still down. Talked a buddy into trying it. I've only been on it once in January. Advice? Weather service saying rain on Saturday. Thanks in advance.

It was really tough a couple weeks back. Saw bait everywhere but only caught small fish, try a couple of the bigger coves

Fished it last weekend. As usual on a holiday weekend you could barely stay on the water after 9 am.
Caught 5 to 10 each morning, only a few keepers.
Shallow along sea walls early in the predawn, then out in front of docks that have brush piles when the sun rises.

Sounds good. Thanks NR. 1'-3' early & 4'+ later. Explore for brush piles sounds like fun to me. I'm just happy to be getting on the water. Squarebills & jigs is what I prefer anyway. I appreciate the help.
