I have a 2002 Johnson 150 on my 19 ft stoner skiff and I'm having trouble with it running at a low idle (450-500rpm) when in nuetral and right when I put into gear. After putting in gear it usually will die multiple times if I don't throttle it up pretty quick. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

What Johnson 150 is it? Idle rpm is too low. 7-750 rpm in gear.

All I know is it's a 2002 Johnson 150 v6. And I know that's to low but trying to figure out why.

Looking from the rear of your boat you should have a plate with serial and model info.
If that's gone take off the cowling. On the engine block there is a quater sized silver plug thay has your serial number.

Having that will help others help you.

Sounds like a power pack, When it's in the water see if raw fuel ends up floating away from you when it's running. My 93 did all sorts of crazy things when the power pack went out.
