Fished Lewisville Friday, Sunday, & Labor Day

151...Friday Ken tagged along & the fish were cooperative. We landed 2 legal hybrids & numerous magnum whites. It was a beautiful day with very low wind

126...Sunday it was me & Henry on the lake. Landed a few undersized hybrids & the remainder were whites.

50...Labor Day it was my son Chris, his friend Clint, & Clint's daughter Zoey. The wind was a factor. The weather report was breezy. Turns out he was correct + some. The lake had big white caps & I could not find a calm area that held fish. We had 2 fish after about 2 hours of fishing. The wind subsided finally & we headed out to the main lake & located a large school of whites on the edge of a hump in 30 FOW. The fish were aggressive & eager to bite the slabs. The school would move, but not far. Zoey is 9 years old & she hooked her own fish. She brought her own rod & reel too. It was one of the pink Zebco combos. I tried it a couple of times & found it was difficult to master the ultra light rod. She did not have any trouble with it, though.

From the numbers, I thought you were giving away free gps coordinate, Don bang lizard

But great numbers nonetheless and I am happy for the Lewisville boys grin

I think you were the only one who found fish on Labor Day on Lewisville. Good job. I never saw another boat catch a fish. Tough day with the wind and traffic. We managed a few on twin poles, a few on dead mans and a few out from Lake Park. Some on live shad, some on rooster tails and some on slabs.
