Guys, I have a Future Bass championship on Texoma in a couple weeks & have not fished the lake in over two years. Last time I saw it she was like 6 feet low. Can anyone ease me a direction or maybe a some info on where to start looking for some fish? I live on Eufaula now & had some fish figured out until the intense heat set in & have completely lost touch with them. Thanks to everyone.

Jaret, I just like to shoot straight, I'm pretty much an out of towner. The tremendous flooding here on Eufaula last year changed the way the lake fished for me & was curious if the flooding affected Texoma.

I haven't fished the lake as much as others on here this year but I have honestly found the fishing good all over the lake. The fish are as fat as I have seen them. I usually have a square bill, white swim jig, and a shakey head tied on and catch them good.

Fished today and it was tough. Fished shallow, points, ledges, rock you name it. Tough with a capital T!!

Did end up finding fish on secondary points in the mouths of the arms by the dam. Swim bait, Square bill. All of the bushes that I knew of are on the bank now.

Good news it it has to get better!!

Good luck.

Cat Man, thanks...based on the 616 elevation, the Texoma I remember would be really shy on brush. It appears the lake is pretty stable as opposed to Eufaula that's dropping a foot or so every 3 weeks.

Texoma is doing fine. She is in her summer pattern with a ton of bait to eat. Fish windblown points with cranks 2-5ft, 3in spoons on the Smallies under the bridges and on walls, and deep cranks at the clear water near the big E.
