I was skeptical that the front came through and might of shut down the bites. Invited a guess here on TFF to go fishing with me and my son today. The bite early morning started out good with 5 hybrids in a row. 1 lost fowl hooked. Then the bites just completely shut down after that.
On the other hands the evening bites was phenomenal. Many of my hybrids caught hit the lures while I am still letting out lines. Limits was quick then we did the catch and release till sun set and leave. We shall return tomorrow for round 2. Seen many boat come and go with nothing to show for. Guess they just hadn't figure out what them hybrids wanted yet. All fish were caught trolling artificial bait. Try the slabbing too but it just seems like I'm fighting a loosing battle with them always moving around hybrids. Seen a few good school of whites. Picked up a few on the slab then went back to catching hybrids since me and my son were having so much fun with these hard fighting fish. All fish were caught in 15 fow. Slight thermocline at about 22 fow and beyond in some areas.

Live report. Put in late today. Massive school of fish greeted us on the flats. Trying to catch whites but them hybrids keeps hitting the tiny slabs. 4 in the cooler already.

Ok just got a double father and son hook ups. Done with our hybrids limits. Going swimming now. Will be back for the evening bites looking for whites. We left the hybrids still hungry and bitting. What a day. Yep this lake is on fire.

Evening bites was awesome!!for hybrids. Schools of whites were thick but I can't get them to bite. This here graph is an example one of many school that I've found.

A good two hours of hybrids wrangling then this came. Many boaters were caught off gaurd. It came in at an instant. No time to react.Gale force wind.
