Anyone ever put in at Trophy Club Park? I looked at it yesterday and thought I would give it a test run this next week. It has a good access point.

It's where Denton Creek empties into Lake Grapevine. Actually within Trophy Club subdivision.

I just moved here from CA, have yet to get my kickboat out on the water, I googled that spot, looks awesome. I'd be down to check it out if somebody is going.

I was planning on going very soon but then decided to wait until I can get my new fishing license. They go on sale August 12 or 13th from what I hear. I was going to put my new pontoon boat in for its maiden voyage but then decided to drown a worm at the same time, so I decided to wait. I live about 20 minutes from this site, so its real convenient. Bill, I'll be glad to meet you there when I go. With this heat, I will be there very early, like 6:15am or so(they open at 6am). Feel free to PM me if you like

I went today and put in my new Roanoke pontoon boat. It was my first time in it and I put in at the area to the right. If the road directs you through the boat ramp area, keep going and you will see a beach type area to put in at the end of the road. good place to enter the water with some small brush in area. After testing my boat though, I decided it's not for me and am going to sell it with my outcast fins I purchased. I do plan to keep going there to bank fish since it seems very "fishy" for bank fishing and is close and only costs $2.00. Have fun!

The launch area was fine. Some sticks sticking out of water at launch area but nothing bad, IMO. I liked the area because it is in a protected area(cove) and main lake is very accessible if wanted. Immediate area looked very "fishy" and I am going back there for the fish.

In a kayak, yes. It's been a while, though. Caught catfish in the creek. Lots of gar in there.
