Fishing is really getting good with a large variety of fish getting caught at the jettys on shrimp and sardines. Trout, reds, black drum, red snapper and many others have been biting along with bull reds.

The Tarpon bite has been excellent with fish up to 175lbs getting landed in the surf with tarpon in the 30-50lbrange being landed at the jettys casting coon pops and on live mullet when the tide gets right.

Shark fishing is excellent at shrimp boats drifting dead bait behind the boats.

The tarpon should be around for about a month and a half and the redfish run is just around the corner. The forecast shows flat seas starting Thursday and lasting into next week so if your looking to catch a tarpon or go after other nearshore species I have days available. If looking to fill the freezer the jettys are fishing excellent.
