SIT is coming up in a couple weeks. Doubt you'll get much info.

I'm not fishing the Permian and I did go last week to Amistad. Bite was bad and the hydrilla is 30' deep, caught a few shallow and a few deep. No pattern to the fishing and the lake came up 3' which scattered the fish.

Actually we found it as deep as 35' and the top was around 17'. It was healthy too! There's some kind of cabbage stuff in the shallower water, but I have no idea what it's real name is.

I knew it it came up around 3' but with all the hydrila the bite should turn on with a little cool weather I would think. Glad to see a rise in it. I was down there last spring and fall and plan on going back and leaving my rv and boat down there. Thank for the reports.

4.5 FT up. Grass is wild, yes up to 35ft plus of grass depending on location. They are biting just need to locate them.

Banjo minnow on an umbrella rig, with a walking worm on a shakey head.

Did you try a gold rattletrap, dd22, white spinner bait, a watermelon seed worm or a frog?
