Come out and fish with us on 9/2. $20 entry fee with an optional $5 big bass pot. We pay 70/30 to first and 2nd, unless we get 30 fisermen, then it is 65, 25 and 10$. Shotgun start at 6:30 and fish until 10:30, but have your fish IN LINE at the crappie dock BY 10:30. Opoen to all anglers and we normally fish 12-15 anglers this year. Had only 6 people fish the working man's T, I guess the rest were out with football. Happens annually, but we still keep fishing. 3 fish won the T at 6.56 with a big fish of 2.51. 2nd place was 4.10 on 2 fish, both about 17 1/4" long. The winning fish all came on topwater 2 on the Whoppoer Plopper and one on a black buzzbait. I made a mistake and fished a reel with bad line and busted one off that looked to go between 4 and 5 when she tried to throw the hook. Parted the 10# line pretty simply and when I was trying to retie, it kept breaking, so it must have gotten hot and need replacing. OH well, such is life. Hope this helps.
