Here is a question to kick around. Should Lake Fork's upper limit of 24" be lowered to 23". Many fish are being caught that are heavy double digit but don't make the 24" Should these fish be kept in the lake to reproduce. Personally I would love to catch and 11 or 12lber regardless of the length

What is your opinion???????????

I just wish they would go to one slot for all lakes or do away with it. I would like to see a 16 to 21 slot or even as James said a 18 min.

Slots benefit certain fisheries in various ways. They're not a one size fits all nor a be all end all. I think the upper end of the slot should remain at 24" and the lower end should be raised to 18" on Fork.

Been saying this same thing for years, but I'm no stinking biologist so what do I know.

This is highly political lake and makes the state and local areas a lot of money, if you want the slot changed or redesigned find a change that will bring in more money and more state record bass.

Ray Roberts went straight in the dumper as a recreational bass fishery when they removed the slot.

And I know who "Jeff" is.

16-21 for Fork and Rayburn. Lots of Big Bass tournaments on both lakes and both need the revenue.

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

18-23 on fork would still keep the bass population/quality thriving in my opinion, but I'm no expert.
