I wasn't trying to do a Steve Irwin here but I did want to see what the stinger looked like up close. These doggone things always make me think I have a huge redfish on the line! At the mouth of Turtle Bayou near Rockport https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETBvJW2Z-Xo

They're good eating, right? i have cleaned them before but the meat isn't very firm, falls apart. I'm sure a large ray would be different
