46 crappie today between 6:30and noon. 40 dinks that were not even close enough to measure.






46 crappie this morning between 6:30 and 11:30. 40 throw backs between 6" and 9". The 6 keepers were all 14" to 15 1/2'. How do you figure.

Hi Tod. I was there yesterday and had the same results. We caught about 45 6 to 8" fish. Two keepers. Guys at the ramp said the same thing. Hope to find the bigger fish soon.

The normal ratio we see a lot on Ray Roberts is between 5 and 10 to 1 on small fish to keepers. Usually takes 100 fish to get 10-20 keepers. Also the small fish bite a lot early and the bigger fish sometimes turn on later in the morning or toward midday. Sometimes the same brush or tree you fished early will start producing big fish as it heats up.

On 8/25, I had 36 fish with 5 keepers. The small fish would hammer a jig. Most turned out to be 7" or so.

That sounds like my ratio on Joe Pool

You would think all of the dinks would grow up after a year or two, but no, same results year after year. 10 dinks for every keeper.

Your not fishing in the right spots. Just saying
