I am looking into getting a custom rod built for my Avet, what brand of rod blanks would you recommend?

I am looking for one too! I would like it 8 foot 6 inch and as big around as a quater at the first eye

Jawbone

Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

What's it for? Redfish? Sharks? Jacks? Casting or spinning? For a run out rod for sharks it's a Jawbone. If you want a casting rod I'd recommend a breakaway rod.(both in CC)
