All owners of spotlock trolling motors should install a panic stop switch in case someone gets their line caught in the trolling motor. (They will)
I bought mine at Grainger Supply for $35.00. Just step on the switch and the motor will stop.

This handle will really help when stowing or launching the Xi5.

I bought mine from:

Looks great Ernest

These are items I feel should be standard equipment for this motor.

Took mine out today and on spot lock the boat did slow circles. It was windy is that normal ?

Mine actually works better when it's windy. When it's dead calm like this morning the boat tends to rotate in the rear. Front stays locked on.

I've noticed that mine is slightly less accurate when there is no wind. However, it does not move much - when there's no wind.

Still, I love my Xi5! bouncy
