Had a good catching day on lavon today from 9 to 130. The quality magnums showed up more as the weather warmed up more. Birds helped today. Got sporadic schools at little ridge, midlake and hybrid point, with hybrid point holding the most magnums and the most double hookups. But fish were still around in between schools. Caught on mepps #4, #2, big slabs, small slabs, flies. Fish were very hungery today and not picky lol. I like to burn the Fiesta slab and let it flutter down. That seemed to pizz off the magnums and most of my doubles were caught that way with fly tied above. Fish caught in 8 to 30 ft. South wind 2 to 6 mph. Caught around 80 fish, not counting 100 yellows, 2 green trash, 2 crappies lol.
Graph looks great today. Ran into TFFer Ken and his dog Bullet who likes to jump into the water and fetches fish. Lol. I also caught my first hybrid on lavon.
