Thinking about buying a new 19trx with a 225 ProXs. I've been trying to dig up info on them but haven't heard much about the ride, speed ect. Any info would be great!

Have a friend that had one....with a smaller motor. It rides REALLY nice. We pre fished all the Bassmaster opens with it last year and he pro/coed from it as well. Not fast with his underpowered version, but fast enough and was always very stable and dry. He sold it and bought a 21 with a 250 for this year. He said aside from faster and bigger....not necessarily better.

I wouldn't hesitate to own a Triton.

The TRXs are some really nice boats with great features. I believe the 18 & 20 are the two gems in the lineup though. I have a '16 18TRX w/ 200 pro XS. The 19 just doesn't do it for me, especially when it's essentially the same price as he 20 w/ 250hp. Mines not completely broke in yet and runs right at 70 w/ 2 poles and medium tourney load. I imagine the 19 will be right around there as well. My only complaint is the push button switches are garbage. The '17s have changed to rotary knobs and triton will send the new ones to all TRX owners.

Btw, my dealer has a brand new '16 20TRX w/ 250 pro XS, 1 blade, 2 HDS touch 9 gen 3s for $46,900.....that's about what most places sell the 19s for with cheap electronics and no poles

I appreciate the info. The 19 just seems like it'll be a good fit for me size and set up wise. My last boat was a skeeter zx225 and was a great boat. Those tritons just look good, so I'm dying to try one out. Good to hear they ride good! Have y'all heard any negatives on them besides the panel? Any complaints on the merc?

I'm looking to buy next spring... I've been eyeing triton too. I think the patriot 20 trx is the best deal on the market. Looks like the same warranty as a skeeter too

These pics don't show it rigged out yet but it has 1 8' blade, 2 HDS touch 9 gen 3s, and a 112v minnkota for that price. On top of that, if you're prior military/Leo/public service, triton gives you a bunch of swag plus a check for $2 per horse power. They also pay for one year of ABA membership ($25) and entry fees to 4 ABA Ram open tournaments ($1000)

Dumb question but what's the difference between pro xs's with the silver lower units?
