I'm headed out to Whitney bright and early on Friday morning and I'm gonna try to put my dad on some fish. Last few times we weren't too successful. I know the south of the island spot and ive heard some people say over near the state park? I was hoping someone could elaborate a little more and maybe post a map picture? From what I saw on my hot maps it doesn't look like there's any humps or drop offs. Am I missing something? Anyways, as always, I appreciate the help!

I couldn't get away from them this morning early! Start Park shoreline and every spot we stopped after. Whites died around 9. We were drifting live shad for bigger girls but just couldn't find them in numbers. Even the Island was a bust. Switched to catfish and did fair. Maybe 20 eaters to 2 1/2#. Whites were busting shad on top early wherever I went. Good luck fishing with your Dad! I sure miss mine!
