me and a co-worker are fishing tyler. we both don't know either lake. which is best for bass, and any other info would be nice. hoping this cooler weather keeps the fish shallow till this sunday

Either lake is good for bass. Haven't been since Saturday but it was slow then. May try a spinnerbaits around grass edges.

Topwaters if you get there at or before daylight or if there is cloud cover. Yellow Magic, frog, etc. As of last weekend the upper ends of both lakes were dirty to downright muddy. Try main lake shoreline grass or points.

I have been 5pm till sunset and have found them schooling shallow. nothing huge but fun just to be catching again!
