Hide some game cameras, your not out a lot of cash and they work.
They hit my neighbors house and the camera got the truck, the tag number, a good picture of the _______ and the police got him a day later, and my neighbor got his stuff back.

Deer season is coming up so you find them on sale.

Wish I had time I would go with you and try to help. If you have 110v at your boat house you're set. Make sure you get the wide angle lens and a dry place to keep the DVR and monitor at your boat house. I would get at least a 14" monitor. If you like I can even come down and help you install it FREE to a good guy. Just let me know.

My SNL has a large landscape company, they install all the time.. I was told to go buy such-n-such(told not to say) and his guys will put it up.. one 32" inch big screen with 4 camera windows... I like it, I can also watch it from my phone 24/7 .. Thank you, good folks all around Fork, it's a shame it get's such a bad name..

Billy, I hate to hear that. Man I keep my boat over there at my son's house. Brave thieves. I know you are packing. Was this at your garage?

OK RED, I'm sure they will take care of you. Maybe give you a little peace of mind at night or while you're gone.

If you did not have serial numbers or marked your DL or SSn on the property, you need to contact the pawn shops yourself. Typically, the officer writes the report, an investigator gets the report and someone else checks the receipts from the pawn shops but they are mainly looking for matched numbers. Most pawn shops don't want the stolen merchandise so they will cooperate with you if you have filed a police report.

I hope so. The owner was able to provide the police their first names, a phone number, cell picture of one of them, and the last known location where they were staying.

I learned something new yesterday. Our DA will not file charges on someone who pawns stolen property unless they are caught the same day they stole the property. Hopefully the caseload in Rains Co. isn't so large that they adopt the same practice.

Just recovered a stolen rifle from a pawn shop. The gun was stolen in April 2014 and pawned in Dec 2015. The guy who pawned it has no criminal history, but has a pawn history a mile long. Mostly tools. The sergeant on my case said he's more than likely a fence. And it gets better. I'll have to go to a property hearing to prove the gun is mine and not the pawn shop's (which won't be a problem because of the paper trail I maintained).

The gun is still listed as stolen in TCIC and NCIC. Pawn shop owner probably transposed a number in the serial number so as not to get a hit on it. I guess this chit goes on all the time. It's a wonder we ever recover anything stolen form us.

With All these "thefts" and the "NO PUNISHMENT" that occurs I propose a NEW SYSTEM!!

First theft- 30 days jail, 30 days roadside cleanup.
2nd theft- 1 year jail.
3rd theft- Lose 1 finger
4th theft- Lose 2nd finger- same hand
5th theft- Lose WHOLE HAND
6th thru whatever- Lose applicable digits/appendages until nothing is left!!

F*&^ those worthless scum bastards getting away with all this stuff... people work HARD to GET and MAINTAIN their tools/fishing gear/furniture/etc. and to have almost ZERO chance to recovering the items when its stolen is BULL*&^%...

LOT HARDER TO STEAL WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE A HAND!! AND PEOPLE WILL KNOW JUST BY LOOKING AT YOUR WORTHLESS A** THAT YOU'VE COMMITTED CRIMES IN THE PAST SO WILL PAY MORE ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure this will prob get deleted but f it tired of seeing bad stuff happen to Good people!!

No No, start at 6, go ahead and get it over with. Once a thief always a thief.
