Been fishing out at Buttes for the past month to avoid all the pleasure boaters on nasworthy. Catching good numbers but nothing of any size (3pounds is the biggest). Lake is getting beat to death though with everyone avoiding nasworthy. Anyone else been fishing out there?

Haven't fished it at all. Run up to Spence they are biting there as well, plus the only boat you will see is probably going to be mine.

Chartreuse Spinnerbaits in the trees and stickups have been the ticket lately. Caught one right at 4 this weekend in the rain. Shad are pushing in the shallows morning and evening and the bass following them up. Catching decent numbers there as well.

May have to try Twin, Nasworthy is just way to busy for me. Oak Creek has been decent, but also gets some traffic on the weekend.

Buttes is crowded on weekends, maybe 10-15 boats out. Well I say crowded, on the water isn't bad but there's not much in the way of parking at the ramp. Weekdays are really nice though!

Are there many usable ramps on old Lake Spence? Used to fish there years ago.

They just closed wildcat ramp. Hopefully the rain around big spring will open it back up. You can safely bank launch at wildcat and at the dam ramp.
