I don't get hungry while fishing, normally and I'm usually out 10-12 hours a trip. I have carried sandwiches before but ended up throwing them away at the end of the day. Sometimes I'll eat a candy bar but that's about it.

Yeah I don't pack a thanksgiving dinner, but if im making a 10 to 12 hour day im going to need energy from a food source. I was just ribbing the guys who say that there is no time to eat while fishing hahaha that blows my mind

This is pretty much me. I put a new pack of peanut butter crackers in every time I go. I think I have about 37 packs in the boat now. LOL.

My cousin has been fishing with me in club tournaments this year. He brought me a Subway sandwich for our all-night tournament last Friday night and I ate it while we were in an idle-only area. Up until the last couple of years I usually didn't eat or drink anything during a tournament.

2 cans Vienna sausage, 2 Twinkies, Butterfinger and 2 bottles G2 when it's hot. When it's cold, thermos full of coffee, 2 honey buns, Butterfinger, bottle water. What I don't eat or drink save it for the next trip.

Ha, no problema Jackson, also take floss piks with me. Electric tooth brush and a visit every 6 months and I'm good. I do need to cut out the Butterfingers though.

Spread crunchy peanut butter and honey mix on a tortilla and roll it up like a cigar. Can chew on it even while having both hands on the rod and reel. PB gives the protein and honey gives a quick energy spike.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways with a fishing rod in one hand, 10# LMB in the other, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and yelling "Wow! What a Ride!

Mason jar full of home made cold pressed organic greens (kale ,spinach , carrots , pineapple , apples , grapes ) and a couple small bags of trail mix consisting of mostly nuts and granola . Lots of water to stay hydrated and if the day was really long , sweet tea with natural sugars to keep me awake for the drive home .

I know ----most of you are thinking ---WHAT --- this guy is crazy !!!!!
Not so fast , I am 55 years old , bass fished for 40 + years and the above diet gives me excellent energy and keeps me feeling better than when I was 30 years old . Haven't been sick with a cold/fever for over 5 years !! Try it , you might like it .
