Put the Xi5 on the boat Sunday morning and took it out on it's maiden voyage. Just giggling the whole time hovering over structure, catching fish, taking them off, re-tieing, etc. Boat never moved.
Worth every penny.

Does it hold in place good? I thought I read somewhere that it moved around quite a bit while locked on

Does it hold in place good? I thought I read somewhere that it moved around quite a bit while locked on It did move around a bit from time to time. I think a lot of that had to do with my boat, which is a center console and drafts very little water. So it is more prone to move more when it's windy. Real test will come in a 15 mph wind. But when there's just a ripple, it holds it pretty steady. We have renamed it R2D2 from all the beeps and whirring noises it makes all the time.
