 Bastrop Grass Spray?

I recently heard that they sprayed the grass in Bastrop and had a small fish kill, is there any truth to this?

Rodfather, your best bet for current info would be the Austin bass fishing forum. Lots of guys fish there regularly.

i was there 2weeks ago, i noticed they had sprayed the reeds on the south shore inlet. didn't notice less underwater grass.

Buddy went out last Tuesday and fished some grass at a certain spot. We went yesterday and that spot had none.
There is still plenty elsewhere. No sign of a fish kill.
I want to know where the hell are the schoolers? We saw two fish pop up the entire 4 hours we spent main lake.

Went Sunday and the grass is still there and still green, saw a bunch of fish schooling but they were real small groups and not worth chasing around. They would hit a Yellow Magic every now and then but it wasn't a great pattern, had a few on shad colored Red Eyed Shad and a few on a shaky head on a rocky point. Nothing outta the reeds and not one bite on a frog, swimming or hollow belly.
