Sunday afternoon we headed out to a friends place just east of Bryan as the rain subsided and the sun peeked through the cloudy skies. Seems like forever since I've been pond hopping for largemouth bass with my daughter Kasie. This is certainly not our usual hot and dry August but Sunday felt much more like a day in late May.. After all the "hit & miss" spillway fishing it is so nice to be back after these plentiful and hungry bass in these little ponds..

Thanks for sharing.

Enjoy as often as you can.

Time passes quickly and there will soon be babies and mortgages and jobs and everything else that has a priority.

Keep this a high priority.

And, get it stored electronically.

Where exactly were you?

I was born on a farm near Brenham and Bellville.

I did my National Guard time in Bryan.

Cool!
I fished a lot of stock ponds when I was a kid. Brings back a lot of good memories. Thanks!

Plenty of nice bass in that pond. Great experience when bass bite like that, thanks for sharing.

Man fantastic day of fishing my friend,And a great video as always! Really looks like everyone was on the fish good! That size water though y'all should have had an amazing fish fry after that day. Although I am definitely a proponent of public water not keeping Bass. But they are as good or better than bluegill that are filete size and Crappie same family it figures. Fantastic eating going back right there and as good as the fishing is now it will even improve it on top of that. food
