I always bring trail mix. I also grab a big breakfast burrito before I head out. If I have any available, I take some sort of power bar or granola bar.

Pickled sausages,or Beer sausage
sardines, tuna, and how can you get by without Vienna Sausages.
All of the things my wife won't let me eat.
I have been known to use the sardine juice for dipping plastic worms.

Jalapeno sausage kolaches on the way to the lake, and I always keep Vienna sausages and peanut butter crackers on the boat if I need a quick snack.

I have 1 rule on food for the boat. Have to be able to continue fishing while I eat it. So I have been eating peanut butter crackers in the boat for about 30 years. Set them on the butt seat and eat while I fish.

I take out snickers, honey roasted peanuts, a couple sodas and water as well. The snickers also serves as my usual work lunch if my wife doesn't make me a nice turkey sandwich. Grad school leaves little time for lunch anyway haha

I always eat a bowl of granola or cheerios with bananas or blueberries before I leave the house in the morning no matter how early. Coffee always in the morning. On the lake, it's peanut butter crackers, granola bars or straight peanuts for both protein and salt when it's hot. Water, Gatorade and Propel especially during the summer.

I'm typically way too focused to get very hungry. I'll usually bring a bag of cashews or something just in case. Those are easy to eat without touching them when you've got slimed up hands.
