I'm sure someone else out there has had this same question. I own a Bass Cat PanteraII. It has a Slide Master Jack Plate on it. I was thinking of adding a Talon mounting plate onto the side of the jack plate. There are two bolts going through the side of the jack plate. It doesn't appear that the Talon Mounting Plate will line up with the Jack Plate. I called BC and Talon and could not get an honest answer. I wanted to find out for sure before I made a purchase and had to return parts. Any suggestions or pictures would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

They will. The Talon mounts are super universal.

Thanks Guys, especially Andrew. When you wired the Talon, did you wired to which battery and where did you wire the ground wire. Thanks again.

That was not my write up. However we usually use the cranking battery when we wire them at the shop. Most people do not hook the green wire up. If your p2 is one of the newer boats it should have a breaker switch on the positive post. Hook to that for power. So you can turn it off and it kills power to everything.

Did the bolts that came with the mounting plate fit the holes in the jack plate alright?

If I remember correctly take the old side plates off and replace with the bracket.

And be sure to use the little tube of grease that comes with it on the threads of the bolts. Learned this one the hard way.

Gotta love cheap stainless. I always use dawn dish soap on all stainless fasteners.
