Welch boat ramp still accessible. Rain creeped up near the road leading to the ramp but still dry

The dam. Catfish is good. White bass is fair dragging bait near the bottom.

Some day they want it slabbed some day they want it trolled. I really don't decide what or how they wanna be caught when they are that moody. Them fish will decide how they wanna be caught. Give them what they want. All caught on artificial bait. Gizzard shads are hanging out deep and are hard to catch with cast nets.

What a catch! Do you mark these on your sonar before jigging or trolling?

Yes sir. If I don't see fish on the sonar I immediately leave and find another area. Sonar don't lie. It is what you're seeing. A blank white screen means leave, get the heck out,go. bolt An active screen should be lit up with baits and predator fish.
