I would not touch an extended warranty unless it is offered from the manufacturer, especially with boats and motors. Way too many fine folks have basically been bilked out of there money by these type of companies. Their fine print and exclusions leave you very little coverage in the long run.

anyone have experience with them? Good - bad? That is not a company we have any knowledge of. Some warranty companies are better than others. Two of the biggest reasons people have issues with aftermarket companies are normally self inflicted. One is people will get a repair done, pay for the service then go back to the warranty company for a reimbursement. This never works. The second area is turning in claims that are not real claims. We have heard of people even trying to claim physical damage or lack of maintenance as a warranty item. You can rest assured, if Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda or any others would not cover the repair, no after market company will. Let us know if we can help. Ken
