Well I braved the rain yesterday and did a little scouting for some upcoming trips. I hit the lake at 3pm and fished until 730. I had to dodge a couple rain storms but managed a limit for my freezer. I tried a lot of different stuff but found brush in 12-17 to be the best. Pepops white lightning 1/24oz jigs did the best for me. I also caught several on Tbox's tadpoles in black emerald shiner. I did talk to a couple of folks who caught some under the big bridge. Hope this report helps everyone.

Thanks bud, looks like you whacked them pretty good. I had to wade through a bunch of small fish to get mine. I never found any of those bigger ones like you had! Good Job!!

Nice fish Jason! Seems like there are some fish more shallow earlier this year. Or I just didnt look early enough last year. There is already tons of bait way back in saline at our boat slips and have caught some decent numbers and size every day this week before or after work in 8-10'. Looks like it should be a good fall

Thanks Martin. I noticed lots of bait everywhere I went as well. I tried shooting a few docks with negative results. I assume the clouds might have hurt that bite. Congrats on your win in the Creekside tournament. It looks like you definitely have them figured out. Hollar at me sometime and lets get together and catch a few.
