Hey all,

We are looking into bay boats for a "do all fishing types" application - whites/stripers, bass, and crappie, and maybe some actual bay fishing. Looking into boats that are about 20', have the most deck space possible, and have a single axle trailer (light and easy to trailer). I have been eyeing the Epic 21 SC bay boat - the deck space seems to be unmatched by competition for the 20' size. What I am worried about is quality and ride since I don't know much about the boats. Any info/tips/warnings would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Carter

they seem nice, I climbed up in a couple that were for sale on boatclub rd near my house. I am not a brand basher, but I was not impressed. The boats were finished nicely, but felt cheap. I just didn't walk around the boat and feel like I could handle it roughly without breaking it. there are better boats out there for sure.

No for me on Epic

Quite a bit of negative info on the net if you do a search of epic boats. I have no firsthand knowledge of them, but info is easily found on others that have owned them.
