It rained the whole time I was on Fork Monday evening and during the day Thursday. They still bit just fine.

I fish plain and simple, weather is just a side note exept lighting or any other life threatening i.e 40+mph winds or tropical storm/tornado.Just rain is not an issue nor is cold or heat. Bass are like people they eat everyday just like us and I get after them as such, weather doesn't matter.

I'll fish in the rain as long as there is no lightning. Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring, whenever.

Fish in the rain- Yes! annoying sometimes but anytime on the water is a learning time! Lightning- NO!!

I think its all a "mindset" thing. show up and its pouring kinda puts a "bummer" on the situation but if you stay positive you are way ahead of the other competitors.

OK so roll call for Fork tomorrow? I am scared to drive down from Little Elm thinking there will be too much weather.

Last time I fished in the rain was a warm day last Feb. Me and my buddy had an 11 and two over 12 all on big spinnerbaits. It rained ALL day long!

Welcome bad weather of any kind. It will be your best opportunity to catch that stringer of a life time. All of my largest stringers have come during the following kinds of weather.
- Rain - Ivie - 8 bass over 8 lbs. each. Did not draw a check. It took one over 9 lbs. every hour. All on my Spook
- Sleet storms - Ivie - Mexico - Amistaid - Falcon - Stringers over 30 lbs. on each. All on the Halloween spinner bait.
- Thunder and lighting - Ohio River - 60 lb. stringer for 10 Bass - All on my Custom Halloween spinner bait. They hate orange.
- Fog, drizzle and thunder - Spence - 40 lb. stringer. All on the orange spinner bait.
- Thunder storms - Ray Roberts - two 9's right after the lighting stopped. Both on the orange spinner bait again.

I have probably just missed another opportunity to load the boat during these last 3 days. You do not just accidentally come upon these fish while out there and bad weather rolls in. You have to have these shallow water, bends in the creeks picked out and ready for the occasion.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.
