Great idea. I have a couple of jars, pink and green. Only problem I have is the jars are old, look new, but I have had them in my tackle box for a couple of years, and when I try one they are kinda stuck together, so I have to take the lid off and unstick them. The jars have lasted me a long time and are still 3/4 full as every time I try them I have yet to catch a crappie using them. But once in a while I will try again. I even bought one of those twisty things that squeeze it into a tube jig, have yet to catch one that way too. The crappie are really tough to catch west of Ft Worth. From Dallas east all the crappie guys make it seem easy. I will keep trying and hopefully someday I will find a way to catch them on a consistent basis and good quantities. I did catch 6 keepers today which for me is a lot. Did not use the nibbles though.

Haha get one of the little mint or gum containers that have the pop off top they work really well and way easier. Ole Slabmesilly taught me that one.

Yes, that is a good idea too Brian. All kinds of things you can dream up to make fishing a little easier! thumb
