Don't know how many sporting clay shooters there are in the bunch, but this Saturday (08/20/16) is the Jon Henderson Memorial Classic - Sporting Clay Event, benefiting Reel Recovery. See how this ties to fly fishing now? LOL.

The event is at Alpine Shooting Range, 5482 Shelby Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76140. Registration at 7:30 AM / Shoot at 9:00 AM and Lunch at Noon. Just trying to help lol. Really wish I could make it !!!!!trying to help again for those lurkers that are on here!(lurkers try participating). Any door prizes or drawings expected? Guys looking At this I recently shot a benefit shoot at alpine and there was a fantastic turn out and great comrodery. Also fantastic lunch provided by chicken E that day!!! The food and fun alone worth entry I'm sure.

There are prizes and nice raffle items too. I know of a Henry .22 Mag rifle that is in the raffle. Don't have a list to tease with, wish I did! It will be a great event; love to see as many folks as possible at this event. Reel Recovery does great things with men fighting cancer; the retreats give these men a break and allow them to connect with others that are dealing with many of the same issues.
