Today looks to be one of the best days in a long time to be chasing green fish yet I am stuck in the office wishing I was on the water. Driving across the Grapevine dam at day break looking at a slick calm waters almost made me turn around and call in sick. Sub 80 degree temps, cloudy and grey, low pressure. OMG
Anyone lucky enough to out on N Texas waters today? How did you do?

I snuck out a little early today and went to JP this afternoon. The weather was incredible but I didn't catch a fish. This time of year has always been the worst for me. And I fish deep most of the time. But I can't find them out there right now or if I do they won't bite.

I didn't have to be at work until noon today so I went out on Eagle Mountain this morning for about an hour. Pulled in a 2 pound large mouth on a purple worm Texas rigged. I had the whole lake to myself and I wish I could have stayed out longer.
