Wind coming out of the North tonight and tomorrow not a severe cold front, how much do you think it will affect the bite. I was planning on going for Stripers at PK dam or Denison dam?

I was about to create a post asking the same question. Our last 100° day for awhile and then it's 80's and 90's. I plan to hit Ray Roberts in the morning but I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time with a front moving in.

Always seems that fronts mess with the fish mojo, but honestly the way the sand and striped bass having been eating and schooling; they may not care all that much. What do I know, lol...... Tight lines and send a report!

I just got home from Ray Roberts. I caught three sand bass today after several twenty five plus days. I don't know if they know it's coming or not but they sure SEEMED to know something is up.

I figured they would just swim to you and say, we give up!! That's only because they know I release them and they want to be in a video. Otherwise...

Front didn't slow them down this afternoon I'm with fishyb. I think it would take a freeze right now to slow them down

You better be taking notes from Robert. He is the fish slayer. I just get lucky sometimes.

I did not go as I have been disappointed too many times with a North wind or pressure changes, It was touch and go for Saturday but decided to miss . Saturday morning no wind blowing and I thought man I should have gone. Robert confirmed that on his post about catching everything on the Clouser, I guess the adage "if in doubt go fishing" should have been applied.

I like the one by John Geriach that goes, something like, " the only way to tell for sure how a fishing trip will turn out is to not go". ( I may be paraphrasing here but I think that's pretty close ).
