I have fished Hubbard the past few weeks. First Saterday evening 2 boats waved me over by power plant spill way and sand bass were topping the water for about an hour. Went back Sunday evening there was about 10 boats there and no fish top water but we still managed to catch a few. I have been back several time and have not seen any top water action. I have marked a lot of fish but thy we're not hungry lol
Any one having any luck. Hubburd can be a craze place on the weekends lol
Thanks for any advice

Hey epic Steve, hubbard has been quiet lately. I haven't fished hubbard in many weeks so don't know what to tell ya. The Boyer boys will be out today so maybe they can find some. Look out for a guy with bad crooked teeth and a wig holding a bullhorn coach

A short RH report...Got to fish with CaptN Rockwall Roy on his beautiful 24 ft sea hunt with the Boyer boys, from 11 to 3 today. The air temperature felt great with temp in the 80s for a peek August afternoon. We got four of the youngest RHSA members on the boat: Zoey (4 months), Reece (2), Max (4), and Ray (80). The catching was slow but we had a fun time just being on the water. We fished at most of the community holes. Marked very few and boated a few. Not much to brag about on the catching part. Max and Reece were busy playing with fish we placed in the live well, which perfectly extended the trip to 4 hours before their nap times. Lol.

The north wind may have something to do with the slow catching part. But it sure felt good to be out there. Thanks for the invite Roy!

Anyone doing any good on hubbard lately?? I am taking the kiddos out Saturday morning.

Great times as usual. This weeks weather may make the fishing pretty tough but it's always better than sitting at home.

Hey Steve, I don't wanna die yet cuz I got more fishing to do lol nuts
My Hubbard trip for Saturday is canceled due to the weather. I did fish with VIP Austin from 230 to 4pm today. It was slow but we finally found them schooling at the jetty in 5 ft. Good keeper sandies and under hybrid mixed in. The rain chased us off. Heard there were schoolings early AM at RP and at the peanut if you guys wanna brave the rain. Be careful out there. smile
