On Saturday Ernest, Rick and I went to Lewisville to catch some of those big black crappie that seem to be everywhere lately. Our first stop was a little disappointing, but we were able to put a few big girls in the box, along with a bunch of little fish caught. When Rick and I were finally able to convince Ernest to start moving; that's when the show started...for some. At every stop all they had to do was put a jig in the water to catch a big one. Me, well I was merely a 'net boy', as I couldn't have caught a cold naked at the North Pole. This went on for another two hours and nothing went in the box that wasn't at least 14". The one in the bottom right corner is 11". No idea who slipped that in the box bolt. We headed in at 11:30 with a few that Ernest wanted for supper. I guess you can say the bear got me this trip. Oh well, there's always tomorrow......who am I kidding. I sucked bang

Guy was right yesterday. Just not his day. Of course we didn't rub it in or anything. banana He did catch a lot of next years fish. (maybe the year after)

FISH SHOULD NOT HAVE TO STAND ON THEIR HEADS.

Today Rick and I fished again (without netboy, he had to wash his hair or something). A little slower than yesterday but managed a dozen or so of the big pigs. Today was catch and release day.

Today was a bit windier but with the new Xi5 you don't notice it. No fighting to stay in position, just use a little heavier jig.

Actually we know who put it in the box but it had been so long since he has caught a 12" fish we didn't have the heart to tell him.
