I will be at Galveston State Park next weekend, Aug 19th & 20th. We will be staying on the bay side.What are my chances of catching any fish while there? Also,what type of tackle should we use? I am taking my nephews and they really want to catch a few fish while we are there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Randy from Alabama

Not an easy place to fish on the bay side for walk in.
How old are your kids and will ya'll have any kayaks or wade in only?

Will just be fishing from shore unless there is a pier there.
