Anyone know where I can buy crickets for fishing besides at like a pet store. In Alabama we could buy 300 for like 7 or 8 bucks.

Unless you have a bait shop nearby, the only other option I know is to order them online. You can get them in large quantiles online.

Your location may help,TX is a big place.
I get mine at Midlothian feed store on hwy287. At a little over a dollar a dozen, cheapest place I've found so far.

I order 1,000 from a cricket farm, Armstrong, Fluker Farms. When they arrive, I stick the whole box in the freezer for a hour or so. I then open the box and put them in pill bottles, about 50 or so to a bottle. The bottles go in the freezer and when I go fishing, I grab however many bottles I need and away I go. They last for a couple of years and they work absolutely as good as live crickets.
